The LPD8 MK2 puts eight velocity-sensitive RGB-backlit MPC pads and eight rotary controls into a 0.86 lb. USB MIDI controller. Its pads give visual feedback during performance, and their colors can be organized with the editor software to help keep samples or audio files identifiable. The rotary knobs provide direct control over MIDI CC messages, plug-in effects, and other parameters. Four stored programs can be configured with the free downloadable editor software, making it a compact option for hands-on pad and parameter control.
