OCR8 is a Bluetooth remote for controlling an OC818 microphone through the free Polar Pilot app on a paired smartphone or tablet. From the device, you can adjust the microphone’s polar patterns, high-pass filters, and pads without handling the mic itself. The app also provides an overload monitor that shows a red bar when the signal is too loud. Its 10 dB pad reduces bias voltage to the capsule to help protect against clipping.
