Description
A 500 Series-format microphone preamp with a discrete transistor circuit and transformer-balanced I/O, the TG2-500 brings stepped coarse gain and variable fine control to a single channel. Switch between mic and line input, choose 1200 or 300 ohm input impedance, and use phantom power or phase reversal when the setup calls for it. Coarse gain runs from +20 to +50 dB in 5 dB steps, while the ±10 dB fine control brings total gain to +60 dB. Its I/O is frame-dependent.
