Description
MPA-1 is a dual-channel microphone preamp that gives an engineer control over how clean or colored the signal becomes. Transformerless input circuitry is paired with a transformer-balanced output, while separate input and output gain controls move from an ultra-clean, transparent result toward coloration from the output stage and Cinemag output transformer. Variable high-pass and low-pass filters, a -6 dB pad, +48VDC phantom power, and phase reverse provide further control at the preamp stage.
