Dan O. Cool is a right-handed six-string built around dual hotter 1950s-spec Lipstick pickups. It keeps the bright, quick, glassy response associated with those pickups, while the added output is described as giving fuzz, overdrive, compression and modulation more to work with. Hardboard top and back, a solid spruce frame, and a bolt-on hard maple neck keep the design rooted in the DANO format. Its C-profile neck, 14-inch radius, 21 medium-jumbo frets and 25-inch scale create a straightforward rhythm-and-lead platform.
