In Green, the Golden 50s pairs its 1950s kitchen tabletop graphic with a six-string DANO platform built for brighter, higher-output Lipstick-pickup work. The neck pickup is 20% hotter and the bridge pickup 30% hotter than traditional Danelectro designs, supplying more push for effects such as fuzz, overdrive, tremolo, reverb, and compression. A hardboard top and back over a solid spruce frame keep the construction lightweight. The bolt-on hard maple C neck, rosewood fingerboard, 14-inch radius, and 21 medium-jumbo frets provide the underlying rhythm-and-lead playing surface.
