Pressed firmly closed, they deliver the tight, dry, precise stick sound described for the series. Played open, micro-lathing and hand hammering add a distinctively complex wash. The cast bronze alloy construction carries warmth at lower volume, while an opened sound brings dark undertones, wobble, and sensitive shimmer.
