This Custom Light Elixir electric set combines .009–.046 gauges, nickel-plated steel, and OPTIWEB coating. The lightweight coating is designed to keep a natural, familiar string feel while giving the player firm contact for bends, vibrato, and sustain. Elixir coats the entire string rather than only its outside surface, extending coverage into the spaces between windings where buildup can form. Anti-rust plating on the plain steel strings adds protection intended to maintain tone life across the full set.
