Description

EMG’s black M-72 set is an active dual-coil pickup design using individual Alnico 2 rod magnets. Its key fit requirement is string spacing: the narrow sensing width is made for Gibson Tune-o-matic bridge spacing, with a maximum width of about 2 inches (51 mm). The low-impedance output is designed to keep its sound consistent when used with either a cable or a wireless system, and the two-pickup setup draws 1.3 mA from a 9-volt battery.
