For a 12-inch coated UV2 option, EVANS uses two 7-mil film layers, reaching 14 mil overall. The head is voiced with a warm, rich character and a pre-EQ’d attack, suited to rock, funk, and heavy-hitting playing. Its UV-cured coating is intended to stand up to dents, splits, scratches, stretching, and wear without losing the textured sensitivity used for brush work. The Level 360 collar promotes more even shell contact for easier tuning and a wider tuning range.
