EVANS’ 18-inch UV2 is a coated, two-ply drum head with two 7-mil films for 14 mil total. It combines a warm, rich sound and pre-EQ’d attack with construction intended for hard playing. The UV-cured coating is made to resist dents, splits, scratches, stretch, and wear, while providing a sensitive, textured surface for brush work. Its Level 360 collar is designed for improved shell contact, easier tuning, and a broader tuning range.
