The black Avalon brings Fender’s tenor acoustic ukulele format together with a laminated basswood top and body, fan bracing, and a satin body finish. Its nato neck has a satin urethane finish and is paired with a walnut fingerboard. A walnut pull-through bridge and open-back geared machines handle the string layout and tuning hardware. With 19 frets across a 17-inch scale, it offers a bright, crisp, articulate, chimey acoustic voice for clearly defined ukulele parts.
