For a Precision Bass replacement build, this genuine Fender neck pairs roasted maple with a maple fingerboard, Modern C shape, and 20 medium-jumbo frets. The roasted maple is described as resistant to humidity shifts. Fender uses a synthetic bone nut with pilot grooves to set the string spacing, then leaves the final slots for setup work. The neck is produced at Fender’s Ensenada, Mexico facility and finished with the spaghetti logo on its headstock.
