Description

For a baritone saxophone setup, the Hinoki M pairs a composite reed material with practical on-mouthpiece adjustment. Its polypropylene-resin and cellulose wood-fiber construction uses more than 50% bamboo fiber and is made by injection molding for a smooth, consistent vamp. The material is resistant to water-logging, saliva breakdown, and warping from humidity or altitude changes. Place it lower on the mouthpiece table to reduce resistance or higher to increase it. Like other reeds, it eventually becomes less lively and responsive and needs replacing.
