Description

The Hinoki MS is a clarinet reed built from polypropylene resin and cellulose wood fiber rather than traditional cane, with bamboo accounting for more than half of the fiber content. Its injection-molded construction produces a smooth, uniformly made vamp, balanced both across and along the reed. In use, it is voiced for a clear, solid center with some buzz for carrying power, plus steady intonation and crisp articulation. It also avoids water-logging and climate-related warping.
