Description

Built for tenor saxophonists who want a composite reed that keeps its working resistance over time. The Hinoki MS uses a polypropylene-resin and wood-fiber blend, with bamboo making up more than half of that fiber content. Its injection-molded construction is intended to keep the vamp smooth and consistent from reed to reed. It resists water-logging and humidity- or altitude-related warping, while still allowing resistance changes through its position on the mouthpiece table. Expect an adjustment period when moving from cane.
