Built around a 1.3mm brass shell, this 14 x 6.5-inch snare combines a full fundamental with bright overtones, projection and a strong attack. The flanged bearing edge and integrated snare bed support consistent head seating and responsive wire engagement across its tuning range. Ten lugs, 2.3mm triple-flange hoops and an Inde throw-off give the drum a practical hardware foundation, while the black-chrome-over-brass finish and gold Franklin badges give it a distinctive look.
