Built around Gibson’s rounded-shoulder dreadnought format, the ’60s J-45 Original combines a Sitka spruce top with mahogany back, sides, and neck. Its hand-scalloped X-bracing is paired with a broad dynamic range, crisp articulation, rich overtones, and a robust low end. The 1.686-inch nut and rosewood fingerboard suit both rhythm work and lead playing. It is an unplugged acoustic with a Wine Red finish, adjustable traditional belly-up bridge, and supplied hardshell case.
