Gold Tone’s MM-150 is an open-back banjo built around a 1/2-inch maple rim, a scalloped three-piece brass Whyte Laydie-style tone ring, and an 11-inch Renaissance head. Its maple neck has a comfortable profile and carries a scooped select-wood fingerboard with snowflake inlays. Planetary tuners, a No-Knot tailpiece, and an early-1900s-style armrest round out the hardware. It leaves the Gold Tone factory completely set up and is listed in GDGBD tuning.
