Pentatone puts a complete distortion-preamp signal path underfoot, from the pre boost through distortion, noise control, detailed EQ, and a post boost. The distortion section has two-band EQ, while the separate five-band parametric EQ gives another stage for shaping the result. Its two onboard switches handle preamp bypass and post boost. Add the Ibanez IFS2L external footswitch when you want foot control of both the pre boost and five-band parametric EQ as well.
