DR. J Emerald Overdrive offers two separate circuits – overdrive and booster – in a compact pedal effect body. Use the overdrive section to add more shine and juice to your guitar sound, moving from a clean sound by adding gain into the realms of rock crunch (e.g. AC/DC for illustration). In addition to the sound’s distortion level and equalization, you can also choose between two types of clipping – Mosfet transistor and silicon diode. A separate boost section reliably gives you the desired signal boost for awesome-sounding guitar solos. An extra switch places the boost before or after the overdrive. The pedal operates in true bypass mode, so it will not affect the pass-through signal when turned off.
