Meinl’s Artisan Edition Tango Line cajon uses two sets of three pre-tuned metal micro-coiled strings across the inside of its playing surface for a crisp snare effect. The 7-ply, 9 mm Baltic birch body is described as producing a full, punchy sound that projects with clarity and warmth. Rounded frontplate corners and thumb notches at the top are built into the playing surface for comfort. Its resonating body is designed to support both playing comfort and sound, and the cajon is made in Spain in a grey eucalyptus finish.
