MEINL’s Artisan Edition Tango Line cajon places two sets of three pre-tuned micro-coiled metal strings behind its playing surface for a crisp snare response. The strings are hand-wound in the style of José “Pepote” Hernández Diaz. Its upper frontplate area includes rounded corners and thumb notches, and the 7-ply, 9 mm Baltic Birch body is built to develop a full, punchy sound with warmth and clear projection. This version is finished in Satin Black.
