Meinl’s Sierra Birch Snare Cajon is a handcrafted, all-birch cajon with a chestnut-stained front plate and an internal coiled-wire snare system against the playing surface. Center hits bring out its full bass notes, while corner slaps activate a crisp, snapping response. Finger rolls, slaps, and bass hits can be shaped through the responsive front plate, and the snare tension knob lets you set more or less snap. Non-slip rubber feet keep the cajon in place while allowing its body to resonate.
