Built for detailed studio capture, the V 402 is a two-channel mic preamp designed to amplify a microphone signal without adding coloration, noise, or distortion. Its DI inputs extend that same approach to electric guitar, bass, and other instruments. A switchable 20 dB pad accommodates high-level sources up to 28 dBu, while the high-pass function addresses pops and rumble. Headphone monitoring is handled by a studio-grade amplifier with separate channel volume controls that do not alter the recorded signal.
