Description

Built around the 80 Series approach, the Neve 1084 Classic Horizontal combines microphone preamplification with three-band EQ and dedicated high- and low-pass filtering. Selectable EQ frequencies and the mid-band High Q Presence switch give an engineer several ways to focus a tonal adjustment. The filters cover 45Hz–360Hz and 6kHz–18kHz, each at 18dB per octave. It is hand-built in Burnley, UK, and intended for an 80 Series Neve Classic console or custom rack.
