Palmer’s ILM is a passive DI box that creates an analog guitar-speaker-simulated direct signal without relying on microphone choice, placement, or room acoustics. Select normal, mellow, or bright to change the speaker-simulation behavior, then set the input pad to 0, -15, or -30 dB as needed. It can sit between an amplifier’s output and speaker, or run from the amp’s line output. Its balanced, transformer-isolated output is intended for connection to a console or audio interface.
