Vintage-oriented in layout, the PRS McCarty 594 uses a mahogany back and neck with a flame maple top, paired with 58/15 LT TCI humbuckers. The 24.594-inch scale, 22 frets, Pattern Vintage carve, and East Indian rosewood fingerboard set its physical format. Two volume controls, two push/pull tone controls, and a three-way toggle give each pickup its own control path and allow a combined middle position. A PRS two-piece stoptail bridge, vintage-style tuners, nickel hardware, and hardshell case round out the instrument.
