RNT is an analog large-diaphragm condenser microphone with two fully discrete Class-A active stages: a hand-selected ECC82 tube inside the mic and a second stage in its floor box. The floor box also handles gain, low-cut filter, and nine-position polar-pattern selection. Those controls let you tailor the direct-to-ambient balance and address rumble, footfall noise, or excess proximity bass. Switchable gain supports a wide dynamic range and high SPL handling for close-miking guitar cabinets, brass, and drums.
