Description

For soprano sax players using a 3+ strength, this ALTA Ambipoly Classic reed is made from symphonic material and absorbs moisture before playing. Its first pairing session lets the reed conform to the mouthpiece and player’s embouchure: plan 2–3 minutes of moisture absorption plus 10–20 minutes for that one-time break-in. If further adjustment is wanted, a reed knife or sandpaper can be used. The design is intended to avoid degradation, micro-cracks, and fraying over use.
