Silverstein Works’ special-edition rose gold Hexa Ligature for small soprano pairs six cord slots with a tension-adjustment system for detailed reed response control. The Sound Adjustment Nut lets the player alter cord tension; less tension is described as making the sound darker and allowing more reed vibration, while added tension can compensate for a thin reed. The ligature is resizable with a standard 1.5 mm hex wrench. Anti-Slip Pads and removable EZ-Pads address movement and mouthpiece-scratch concerns during instrument changes.
