PURE DRIVE OCTO brings eight microphone preamps into one 2U rack unit, with a separate choice of Clean, Classic Drive, or Asymmetric Drive on every channel. Clean mode is intended for low-noise, linear capture; the two Drive modes shift harmonic emphasis in different directions. Four impedance options per preamp add another way to tailor the input. Rear XLRs, front-panel Hi-Z/DI inputs, D-sub line and insert connections, plus USB, AES/EBU, and ADAT make it suited to recording systems that need both analog and digital routing.
