Portacapture X6 is a portable multi-recorder that can work from its dual built-in microphones or accept two external microphones through XLR inputs. Its large color display uses app-like operation, keeping recording and post-recording processing in one device. A compressor, limiter, high-pass filter, EQ, and reverb provide onboard tools for tasks such as managing wind, extreme peaks, or dialogue plosives. Recording at 96 kHz/32-bit float is intended to capture material recorded softer or louder than ideal.
