V5 Short-Tail is a no-permanent-drilling mount for a Bigsby B5 Original Vibrato. Its short-tail format is aimed at tighter locations, including SG Classic-style guitars with larger pickguards. For most traditional-style guitars with a Tune-A-Matic-style bridge and stop-tailpiece, included hardware supports installation in minutes. Three felt pads beneath the mounting plate provide soft contact with the guitar top, while the plate positions the vibrato in its intended orientation.
