WA-19 is a dynamic cardioid microphone built around a hand-assembled humbucking capsule. Its narrow body is useful when a crowded studio setup leaves little room around an acoustic guitar, vocal position, drum kit, or snare bottom. Low-end control comes from both the ventilated body slots and a variable acoustic high-pass filter that can cut up to 10 dB at 50 Hz, so you can reduce boom and bring more attention to the upper mids.
