Violet World is Wren and Cuff’s high-gain fuzz voiced around a generous, sharply defined mid-scoop. Its character is related to some early Ram’s Head Muffs, but the model is not presented as one exact historical Violet version. Wren and Cuff chose BC108C “tin can” transistors for this circuit, even though the original Muffs did not use them. Those discontinued transistors come from a limited supply, which also limits how many Violet World pedals can be made.
