Smoothing capacitors are used to soften sharp highs and eliminate squealing at higher volumes, while metal-film resistors are specified for quiet operation. A reverse-log fuzz control makes more of its range usable, and the Custom You low-cut lets you reduce low-end squash. It also provides increased output and an output capacitor value intended to pass more lows.
