Built around 20–40 inch gongs, Zildjian’s General Gong Mallet covers broad strokes on small instruments and detail-conscious work on larger ones. The large diamond-shaped yarn wrap pairs with a U.S. select hickory handle for an all-purpose, balanced playing feel. It can draw greater volume from smaller gongs while retaining control and nuance at the large end of its stated range. A lanyard strap is provided for hanging it on the Zildjian Heavy Duty Gong Stand.
