The Forestone Black Bamboo Double Blast M is a tenor saxophone reed made from polypropylene resin and cellulose wood fiber, with bamboo making up more than half of that fiber content. Injection molding produces a smooth, uniform vamp and a balanced profile, tapering to a 0.1mm tip. It is designed to keep its strength and resistance over time while avoiding water-logging and humidity- or altitude-related warping. Resistance can be changed by moving the reed on the mouthpiece table.
