Forestone’s Black Bamboo Double Blast MH is a tenor saxophone reed formed from polypropylene resin and cellulose wood fiber; bamboo accounts for more than half of that fiber content. Its injection-molded construction creates a smooth, consistent vamp with side-to-side and front-to-back balance, ending in a 0.1mm tip. The composite material is made to resist water-logging, saliva breakdown, and warping from humidity or altitude changes. Adjust its blowing resistance by changing where it sits on the mouthpiece table.
